Youth De-Addiction

Addiction is a chronic medical disorder that can be treated and involves intricate connections between brain circuits, heredity, the environment, and an individual's life experiences. Addicts use substances or engage in compulsive behaviors, which they frequently maintain despite unfavorable consequences.

Youth are encouraged to participate in long-term inpatient addiction treatment based on the Social Model, which includes a mental health assessment, individual and group therapy, peer support, a healthy diet and nutrition, recreation, positive socialisation, family counselling, post-treatment continuing care, and educational opportunities. Treatment for drug and alcohol abuse is provided via the Youth Program.
